Join us at the Science Seminars - everyone is welcome to attend!
If you would like to join the other Highline faculty that have shared their expertise,
feel free to contact us.
You don't have to be from the sciences - you just need to be able to illustrate
how science and technology impact your field. You could be the next Science Seminar faculty!
There are some amazing advantages to giving a Science Seminar talk:
- Exposure to a wide variety of students, the general public, faculty, and staff for you and your program
- An opportunity to discuss a topic that you think is cool or interesting
- An opportunity for students to see what a great teacher you are and convince them to take your classes!
- Make connections with the community and other faculty that might lead to interesting and important relationships.
We are particularly interested in getting faculty from outside the Pure and Applied Sciences to present. We have had many wonderful presentations from faculty in all the other divisions… Science touches us all! Please let us know if you are at all interested. We can discuss specifics at your convenience.
